Thomas Rowbottom

Thomas L. Rowbottom of Twining, MI passed away on July 24,2025, with family in Standish, MI just shy of his 76th birthday. He was born to John and Helen (Groom) Rowbottom on July 28, 1949. Tom was raised in Birch Run, MI where he graduated from high school. After working a few jobs, Tom found his place at Tawas Tools as a machinist. He retired in 2015 after 42 years of employment. Tom also owned "Grandpa Tom's Tavern" in Twining, MI for 7 years. After retiring, Tom continued to work part time spending his free time with his great grandchildren doing school pick ups, shopping trips, trips to the park and fair, and watching as many ball games as he could possibly attend. Tom will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbors all of whom he loved to visit.

Tom is survived by his children: John (Gail) Rowbottom and Sherri (Dean Grauherr) Rowbottom; sister: Patricia Bowden; grandchildren: Thomas (Jessica) Papiernik, Jamie (Bryan) Tanner, Jonathan (Brittany) Rowbottom, Dean (Jessica Debusschere) Grauherr II, and Alex (John Lindquist) Grauherr;

great grandchildren: Jacey Tanner, Conner Downes, Adelynne Tanner, Alma Tanner, Jackson Tanner, Theodore Rowbottom and Lilly Rowbottom. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Rowbottom and brother-in-law Garland Bowden. Per
