Tom was born May 15, 1952 in Gallipolis, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Robert Sims and Phillis Mae Collins Sims.
Tom was a retired Conductor with the CSX Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Mae Rickard Sims; daughters, Leslie Sims (Mike), of Shepherdstown, WV, Carrie Sims (Jason), of Martinsburg, WV, son, Jeff Sims (Rosy) and wife Rosey, of Inwood, WV; grandchildren, Trenten, Tyler, Drake, Nayeli, Navin, Terrianne, Kayla; sister, Diane Sims Thornbury, of Troy, Ohio; stepchildren, Tabitha, Megan, Rob.
Services and Interment will be private.
Arrangements are by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson, WV.
