Thomas E. Smith, 58, of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Tom was born on September 12, 1966 in Massillon, Ohio the son of the late Thomas and Rosalee (Welch) Smith.
Tom was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1985 graduate of Washington High School. He was a huge Tigers football fan. Tom worked for Per-tech Corporation for 23 years. He could be found down at the local reservoir fishing. Tom had a great sense of humor and a large caring heart. He was a wonderful father, brother, son, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters, Kaydin (Dan Bechtel) Krahling, and Rochelle King; siblings, Darena (Chad) Garrett, Catrina (Eric Croston) Smith, Rick Smith, and Regina Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 3-5 pm, with a Celebration of Tom's life at 5 pm. To share a special memory with Tom's family please sign the online guest book.
