Thomas Joseph Smith

Thomas J. Smith, 84, of Springfield, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. A Coast Guard veteran and dedicated firefighter with Millburn Fire Department for 30 years, Tom was a proud father, grandfather, and community member. He is survived by his two daughters, Heather Fiory and her husband Justin and Megan Miller and her husband Jimmy; six grandchildren, Brenna and Chase Fiory, Addison, Aubrey, Adriana and Joseph Miller, his siblings and their spouses, Ben and Doris Smith, Anna Smith, John (Patricia) Smith and Pete and Ginger Smith, and cousin, Mary and Charlie Cameron. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy Lee Occhiuzzi Smith, and his brother, Dan Smith.
