Thomas Michael "Tommy" Stephens

Thomas Michael Stephens, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 20, 2024 following a courageous 11-year battle with cancer. Born on August 19, 1952, Tommy demonstrated unwavering resilience and faith throughout his ordeal. Raised in Groveland/Clermont, Florida he was predeceased by his parents, Laomendon Stephens and Dorothy Ganey, and siblings Timmy Stephens and Mark Gill. Tommy shared a 40-year marriage with Sharon Stephens and is survived by children Jamie Brown and her husband George, son Coby Stephens, daughter Lindsey Parks-Neel, grandchildren Bradley, Jordan, Hudson, and Pennleigh, and siblings Linda Davis-Giddens and Elizabeth Gill-Revels. His interests included golf, NASCAR, fishing, and University of Florida football, with notable culinary expertise showcased at the Race Car Diner in Astatula. Admired for his kindness and generosity, Tommy earned the nickname Superman. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16th from 1-3 pm at the Astatula Community Center, 13251 Park Ave, Astatula, FL 34705.
