My first memory of meeting Tom was while I was working at my dad's restaurnt in Plainfield. Tom & Hedy were so warm and friendly. Throughout the years he used to order anything without onions (he was allergic). We developed a strong bond and they became my "adoptive" grand-parents, since I was never able to meet my actual grandparents. Tom had a heart of gold and gave the best hugs! He will be deeply missed.
