Thomas Joseph Taborek

Thomas Joseph Taborek, age 83, passed into eternal life on Monday, April 14, 2025, in Yukon, Oklahoma. He was born on February 17,1942, in El Reno, Oklahoma, a son of the late Edward and Mary Francis (Michalicka) Taborek.
Thomas was raised on a farm near Yukon where he resided and worked for his entire life, farming and ranching. He was a member of Banner Co-op and St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon. Tommy enjoyed everything farm related, from studying different seeds to planting, growing, and harvesting his wheat. He loved making his rounds checking his cattle most of all.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Francis Taborek; infant brother Joseph; and elder brother Alois. He is survived by sisters Mary Ann Voss and Catherine Eubanks and husband Bill; nephew John Voss and wife Mary with daughter Jenna; niece Jennifer Markus and husband Kevin with son Kaiden and daughter Elizabeth; nephew Edward Eubanks and wife Carly with daughter Memphis; and niece Marianna Eubanks.

A rosary service will be held at 9:45 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2025, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon, Oklahoma, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Yukon Cemetery.
