Tom was a veteran of the US Navy. He entered the service just in advance of WWII coming to an end and subsequently served in the Naval Reserve with pride and distinction. He also made his career as a Civil Servant ~ working as Postmaster for the USPS in his beloved Rhode Island. He retired after a long and devoted career. The pride with which he served, and his overall integrity in this life, was something he instilled in his family.
Tom dearly loved his family, his golf, and his New England Sports Teams. May he long be remembered in the hearts of those that he touched and in those that he served as the truly good man that he was.
He will be interred with his mother, Dorothy Taylor, at Spring Vale Cemetery,
Rumford, RI. Burial will be private and no services are planned at this time.
