Thomas George Teague
September 23, 1933 – October 12, 2025
Thomas George Teague died peacefully on Sunday, October 12, at the age of 92, in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Tom was born in Okarche, Oklahoma, to Seraphine Mary Gilles and George Edward Teague, and was the youngest of five siblings: A. John (Jay), Francis Lee, Elizabeth Ann (Korstjens), and Charles Edward.
Tom’s passions were as varied as they were heartfelt. He built and operated two pharmacies with pride, serving his community with steadfast dedication and care. He found joy in caring for the animals on his farm, in camping trips shared with family, and in travels that expanded his view of the world. A lifelong learner, Tom maintained a deep interest in science and was continually drawn to understanding the intricacies of the world around him. He was known for his fondness of ice cream and for his skill at the grill. He was also an avid bridge player, enjoying both the intellectual challenge and the fellowship of his local club. Above all, Tom adored his wife of 69 years, Jane Frost Teague, whose love and partnership were the cornerstone of his life.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jane, and their two daughters: Ann Elizabeth Teague Casias (Ray, deceased) and Susan Carol Teague. He was a proud grandfather to Kezziah Casias Green (Allen), Twila Casias (Andres Villegas), Capriza Casias (Cristian Madrid), Kelsey Carlson Morrison (Justin), Craig Carlson (Lauren), and Seth Carlson (Ashley). His legacy lives on in the laughter, love, and lives of his great-grandchildren: Casian, Kaiden, and Acadia Green; Chase and Jack Morrison; Tuni Jo Carlson; and Alden and Etta Carlson.
Tom’s gentle spirit, boundless curiosity, and steadfast love leave a lasting imprint on all who knew him. His memory will be cherished, and his presence deeply missed.
