Thomas Allen "Tee" Tharp, III, 78, of Isola, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at his home.

Tee was born March 19, 1947, in Indianola, to Thomas Allen Tharp, Jr. and Myrtie Logan Tharp. He worked as a farmer for many years, first in row crops and later in catfish farming. After retiring from farming, he began excavation work. He was a Mississippi Army National Guard veteran. Tee was a very social person. He loved talking to people and telling stories, and knew everyone. Tee enjoyed playing golf, deer hunting, carpentry work, and was a recreational pilot. He loved to fix things that others said couldn't be fixed. Tee was a member of First Baptist Church of Isola.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Thomas Allen "Tal" Tharp, IV.

Tee is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia Burleson Tharp of Isola; son, Kevin Tharp (Kristen) of Madison; two daughters, Tara Baker (Steve) of Brandon and Chris Ann Turner (Laman) of Belzoni; sister, Nancy Wood of Inverness; ten grandchildren, Ashley Sharplin, Peyton Sharplin, Ty Baker, Ashton Tharp, Lillian Tharp, Kayden Finn, Charleigh Wablington, Finn Tharp, Briar Turner, and Jake Turner; nine great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Belzoni. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 with Rev. Trent Sligh and Rev. Richard Wiman officiating. Burial will follow in Belzoni Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
