Thomas “Tom” Justice, 87, of Middletown, passed away December 13, 2025, in Florida, surrounded by family. He was born January 20, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was a lifelong resident of Middletown, later enjoying time at his winter home in Florida.

Tom was a graduate of Middletown High School and a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, serving his country with honor and dedication. Following his military service, he worked the majority of his life and retired from Delco Remy, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependability.

He lived a life defined by love, loyalty, and the simple pleasures that brought him joy. Living a life with a steady hand and open heart. Finding happiness on the golf course, peace while fishing quiet waters, and the thrilling roar of engines at the track.

Yet above all else, he cherished his devoted wife of 61 years, his partner in every season of life.

Together, they built a life filled with laughter, resilience, and unwavering companionship. Their marriage stood as a testament to enduring love, mutual respect, and shared dreams. Though his journey has ended, his legacy lives on in the memories they created, the family they raised, and the love that will forever bind them.

He will be forever missed and honored.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Susie Justice of Middletown; his children, Carlene Holland of Anderson, Marlene Neeley of Anderson, and Angie (Jay) Bronnenberg of Middletown; and his grandchildren, Amanda (Scott) Hamilton of Pendleton, Tierany Holland of Noblesville, and Jaykob (Jessica) Bronnenberg of Daleville. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Brycen, Zayden, Hudsen, Austen, Kingsley, Remmy, and Addy, who brought him immense joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Justice, his father, and Beulah and Pete Watkins, his mother and stepfather; and his son-in-law, John Neeley Jr., along with several aunts, and lifelong friends.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday December 20, 2025, at Miller Cemetery in Middletown. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. You may share a memory or express a condolence for Tom at www.ballardandsons.com.
