Thomas “Tommy” Ray Cooksey, 68, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday December 24, 2022, at his home. He was born October 3, 1954, in Tyronza, Arkansas to Elmer and Mary Sanders Cooksey. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Robert and Johnny Cooksey, and one sister: Charlotte Garrett.
Tommy is survived by his wife of forty-five years: Donna Miles Cooksey of the home, two sons: Thomas Cooksey (Heather) of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Michael Cooksey (Emily) of Trumann, Arkansas, three brothers: Joe Cooksey of Batesville, Arkansas, Walter Cooksey of Rockford, Illinois and Paul Cooksey of Conway, Arkansas, four sisters: Alphia Cooksey of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Mary Morgan of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Virginia Breckle of Payneway, Arkansas and Pauline Hooper of Trumann, Arkansas, one Grandson: Drake Cooksey of Trumann, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 10:00 A.M., and Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
Interment will follow funeral service in Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Brother Jeff Miles will officiate the service.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
