Watson

Thomas Edwin Watson, 64, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Mr. Watson was born a son of the late Vivian Watson Hancock and Thomas E. Watson. He worked for Merita Bakery 24 years and retired as Maintenance Engineer from McCall Farms. Mr. Watson was a Deacon at Lucknow Baptist Church in Bishopville.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Franklin Watson; daughter, Amy Pellum (Thurman) of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Mary Jane Pellum and Lincoln Edwin Pellun; sister, Susan DuBose of Bishopville; special nephew thought of as a son, Michael Eastridge of Florence; a number of nieces, nephews and great nephews; and a special sister-in-law, Jane Sox, of Florence.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Family will greet friends immediately following the service.

Mr.Edwin was such a amazing man and was a friend of ours for a long time my husband Anthony Trott worked with him first at the Sawmill in Darlington then again at McCall Farms he will always be loved and missed.
