Thomas Wellman Obituary
Thomas Russell Wellman, 75, of Grayling, MI passed away on August 2, 2024. He was born on December 24, 1948 to Russell and Barbara Wellman in Mt. Pleasant, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife Katharine in 2023. Tom served in the US Navy. He loved guns, hunting, fishing, and snow plowing.
Survived by his children: Angela (Robert) Curns, Thomas Eric Wellman, and Heather (Kris) McCarrick. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Brothers: Mike (Flo) Wellman, Ray (Patricia) Wellman, and Ronnie Wellman. Sister: Betty (Dane) Wellman and sister in law Bev Hacker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers Dan, Joe, Dave and Mark Wellman.
Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service begins at 12:00 noon with Elder Lacey Stephan officiating. Military Honors will follow. A luncheon will be provided at the funeral home once services are complete.
