Thomas E. Whitesel, Jr., 48, of Huntingdon, and a previous resident of West Virginia for 15 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 24, 1977 in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Thomas E. Whitesel, Sr. and Nancy (Lamberson) Long who survives in Huntingdon. He was united in marriage to the former Gloria S. Stone on June 4, 2000, in Huntingdon, by Pastor Georgetta A. "Cookie" Hartley. His wife of 25 years survives at their residence.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his son and two daughters, Thomas E. Whitesel, III, Shawna M. Whitesel, and Kc J. Whitesel and fiancé, Adrian Beard; and two siblings, Anthony S. "Petey" Whitesel and Erica D. Whitesel, all of Huntingdon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Carol J. "Meme" Lamberson, on March 25, 2024.

Tom attended Huntingdon public schools.

In West Virginia, he held various construction jobs and had been employed by William's Asphalt Supplier for 12 years, as well as, a well drilling company and Dawsons Plumbing. His most recent employment was with the Original Italian Pizza Rt 22, Huntingdon.

Tom was an avid fisherman who had a fondness for animals, especially dogs. He also enjoyed participating in Fantasy football and coin collecting. He was of the Christian faith and above all, cherished spending time with his family.

A celebration of Thomas's life is being planned for the Spring of 2026.

Flowers are to be omitted and donations in his memory may be made to the John B. Brown Funeral Home, P.O. Box 242, Huntingdon, PA 16652, to assist the family with final expenses.
