Mr. Thomas Edwin Williams, 88, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away on December 17, 2025, at his home while surrounded by his entire beloved family.
Born on June 30, 1937, in Donalsonville, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Amy Foy Williams and Fannie Mae Philmon Williams. He served our country in the United States Navy from 1956-1960 where he served on U.S.S Dixie AD14. He was an honored member of the Masonic Chehaw Lodge # 701, Shiners, and Sottish Rite. He retired from Miller Coors. He will be remembered most for being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and was affectionally called PAWPAW.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 64 years, Sondra Hardy Williams of Leesburg; children, Eddie H. Williams and Nancy, Kimberly Williams, Kelly Arrington, and Leigh Ann Mauk; grandchildren, Lacey Wilson and Beccah, Jade Sellers and Chris, Lauren Williams, Brandi Dismuke and Scott; great-grandchildren, Tyson Baker, Thomas Baker, Parker Leigh Sellers, Avery Kate Sellers, Georgia Ann Dismuke, Jake Dismuke, and Josie Dismuke; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his siblings, Martin “Red” Williams, Juanita Williams Davis, Vida Williams McDaniel, Carolyn Williams Howell, Patsy Williams Holt, and Matthew Ray Williams.
In accordance with his wishes there will be no formal services.
