Thomas J. Zane Sr.

Thomas Joseph Zane Sr., 64, of Douglassville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Karenlee (Resnick) Zane, with whom he shared eight years of marriage and more than two decades of life together.
Born in San Antonio, TX, on July 6, 1961, Tom was the son of the late Robert J. Zane and Joan A. (Ball) Zane.
He was a proud graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, Class of 1979. Tom began his career at E.I. DuPont, where he worked for more than 25 years, and later spent 12 years as an IT Engineer at RevSpring.
Tom had a deep love for the outdoors. He found peace in hiking - having even trekked along the Appalachian Trail - and enjoyed fishing throughout his life. A passionate sports fan, he cheered faithfully for the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. He was also a history enthusiast with a special interest in military history and wars, and he enjoyed visiting historic sites, including travels to France and Normandy. Above all else, Tom cherished spending time with his family and creating lasting memories together.
In addition to his wife, Karenlee, Tom will be remembered by his sons: Thomas (Tori) Zane Jr., Jesse Zane, Logan (Courtney) Innes, Ryan Zane, Connor (Nick) Innes, and Mark (Stephanie) Innes; his beloved granddaughters: Everleigh, Riley, Olivia, Charlotte, and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Christine Ott, Robert Zane, Katie Zane, and Janet Kowalski. He is also survived by his two loyal dogs, Fenway and Kona, as well as many family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Bonnie Rinker.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N.
