He is survived by his wife of eight years Ruth Klinge; his daughters and grandchildren: Jennifer and Scott Denil, Amy Zenger (Kimberly Holden, Timothy Holden, and Thomas Holden); his stepchildren and their children: Jamie Roubos (Jessica Roubos, Mikalah Goudy, Rebekah Payne, and Victoria Roubos), Andrew and Paige Roubos (Drew Roubos, and Luke Roubos), Todd and Elizabeth Klinge (Matthew Klinge and Andrew Klinge), Lynnae Killian (Jarett Killian, and Dawson Killian) and his brother Steve and Linda Zenger.
Tom was preceded in death by his first wife Judith in 1990 and his second wife Mary Ann in 2013.
Tom was the co-owner of Zenger's Inc. Industrial Supply in Melrose Park, IL. He had a fascination with planes, even acquiring his pilot's license. Tom enjoyed fishing, woodworking, traveling and had an extensive antique tool collection.
Private services are being planned.
