Threasa Louise Lis

Threasa Louise Lis, age 79, passed away on January 2, 2026.
She was born on March 13, 1946, on the family farm in Capac, Michigan. Threasa lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and devotion.
Threasa was deeply devoted to her church and was very active at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She faithfully served as a Eucharistic minister, sang in the choir, coordinated and helped with coffee and donuts, and served on the finance committee. Her church community was a central part of her life.
She had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in her plants and yard. Known as one of the hardest-working people you could ever meet, Threasa enjoyed working outdoors and would even split her own wood so she could relax by her fireplace
Threasa is survived by her loving children, Katherine (Albert) Mascagni, James (Kim) Dunn, and Rick Dunn; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Hubler, Nicolas Dunn, Samantha Dunn, Dominique Dunn, and Vianna Dunn; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, who passed away in 1990. Together, they shared a beautiful life and a lasting love.
Threasa will be remembered for her strong work ethic, generous spirit, unwavering faith, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
The family honors the memory of Threasa and invites you to visit and share memories Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Mt. Clemens. Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with 9:30 a.m. visiting. Fr. Mark Prill will officiate.
