Thresia Alvinlene "Big T; TC" Moody

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of a truly precious and beloved lady, Thresia Alvinlene Moody, who was lovingly known as "Big T" and "TC". Her blessed life of 64 years was a gift to everyone who knew her, and she peacefully entered into her glorious heavenly home on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Thresia was born on April 20, 1961, in Haywood County, where she had made her home all of her life. All throughout her blessed life, she brought joy and happiness to those around her. She loved spending time with her friends, often going out and sharing moments filled with fun and companionship. At home, she often enjoyed working on puzzles in her quiet times. Above all, Thresia's greatest happiness came from being with her family. Sunday dinners were a wonderful favorite tradition, and Thresia loved having all her family gathered together- what cherished memories for everyone.

Thresia's delightful and funny personality ensured that there was never a dull moment in her presence. She truly had a way of making others smile, and her genuine kindness will be remembered as a part of her lasting legacy. One of the most profound bonds in her life was with her loving sister, Jacqueline Evans. Their relationship was one of true devotion. Thresia cared for Jackie for many years, and they were truly inseparable

Thresia's memory will forever be in the hearts of her loved ones, and we should never forget her inspirational life of always caring about others.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Marie Inman; her father, Alvin Francis Moody, Sr., and step-mother, Ethel Moody; her siblings, Alvin "Tubby" Moody, Jr., Clayton "Brute" Sutton, Carroll "Punkin" Sutton, and Jacqueline Evans.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Joseph Riccardi (Kristin) and Michael Riccardi; grandchildren, Joseph, Emma, William, and Maria Riccardi; siblings Kenneth Dewayne Moody (Donna), George Thomas Moody (Mary), and Susan Corbin; special nieces, Rebecca Evans-Goodson and Autumn Woodley; a dear brother-in-law, Bruce Evans; and a multitude of friends.

Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, December 21, 2025, in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
