Thurman Langston Obituary
Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Thurman Glenn Langston, age 77, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11:00AM Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Pauline Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. Rev. Freddy Wayne Langston will officiate.
Mr. Langston was born on June 12, 1944 in Johnston County to the late Thurman and Latha Rhodes Langston. He retired from the Tobacco Division with the USDA. Mr. Langston also ran Langston’s Country Store at Strickland’s Crossroads for 10 years. He was US Navy Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
Surviving include his wife of 46 years, Glenda Rhodes Langston; children, Penny Martin and husband, Robert of Benson; Charlie Langston and wife, Dana of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Reid Martin, Reese Martin, Lacey Langston and River Langston; sister, Kathy Holloman and husband, Michael of Pine Level; many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
