Tia Jolene Shramm

Tia Jolene Shramm, born on February 29, 1980, in Pueblo, Colorado, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Frankfort, Kentucky. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
She was the cherished daughter of John Nelson Shramm and the late Barbara Leora James Shramm.
Tia is survived by her father, John Nelson Shramm; her beloved son, Michael Teagan Jomaral Crowdus; her adopted mother, Delois Crowdus, and a large extended family of siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother; her stepmother, Barbara Jean Peters Shramm; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and several siblings.
For over a decade, Tia dedicated herself to serving others through her work at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She began her career as an ER technician before transitioning to the role of phlebotomist. Her dedication to helping others reflected her deep compassion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of those she served.
Tia found immense joy in the moments she spent with her son, Teagan. She valued watching him participate in sports and treasured the time they spent fishing together, which deepened their relationship. Additionally, she took delight in detailing vehicles during her free time.
Tia had a customary practice of bestowing unique nicknames upon those in her company. In casual conversations, it might not always be clear whom she was referring to, but upon her introduction, the nickname would seem entirely appropriate. This was yet another of her distinctive qualities that contributed to making individuals feel valued and cherished.
Tia will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and warm heart. Her presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
May her memory bring solace to all who mourn her passing.
