A proud graduate of Grove City High School's class of 1976, he spent his working years with The Franklin County Engineers Office then onto The City of Grove City before retiring to live life passionately with his loved ones.
Tim was a devoted family man who fiercely loved his daughters, grandchildren, and close circle of friends. He leaves behind daughters Claire Gau and Amanda (Kalen) Nester, grandchildren Tristen, Owen & Brooke, along with his wife Tamara Bickel-Guyer & siblings Larry (Janice) Guyer, Connie Guyer, Karen (John) Keeling, Theresa (Jon) DeWitt.
Tim had an unwavering love for nature, often found with a fishing rod in hand at the “Big Darb” (Darby Creek) or at Seneca Lake, accompanied by his son-in-law Kalen. Known for his green thumb, he took pride in cultivating a garden which yielded his homemade salsa’s and pasta sauces, enjoyed by many. Tim's passions extended to Westerns & NASCAR especially the Dayton 500.
His warmth and loyalty were treasured by his closest friends, including Roseonna Nickoloff, Steve Capocciama, Tim Burke, Jeff Saylor, Terri Cramer, and Tony and Suzanne Treneff. Tim's legacy of love and laughter will forever be etched in the hearts of those he held dear. To honor his wishes, no traditional funeral will be held; instead, loved ones are encouraged to remember Tim with joy and celebration and to embrace life full-heartedly just as he did.
