Tim Jenner

Timothy "Tim" Gene Jenner was born on February 8, 1967, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Billy and Jeri (Mixdorf) Jenner. Tim grew up in Waterloo and graduated from West High in 1985. In 1988, he was cruising University Avenue and met Lisa Wheelock. The couple were married on October 31, 1992. In 1995, they welcomed their daughter, Catherine. Tim worked at the Isle Casino for 15 years as a slot machine technician. He then worked at Winnebago and took great pride in his assembly line work. Tim enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle and 4-wheeler, and especially spending time at the cabin with his family. He was currently collecting toys for Christmas to give to needy children. He also rescued many kittens and adopted 2, Onix and Tigger. Tim died at the age of 55 on October 3, 2022, at his home, following a sudden heart attack. He was preceded in death by his father; step-father, Gary Karr; and his grandparents, Al and Ruby Mixdorf and Arthur and Wilma Jenner. Tim is survived by his wife, Lisa of Waterloo; his daughter, Catherine of Waterloo; mother, Jeri Jenner Karr of Dike; sister, Amy (Mike) Camarata of Dike; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Larry and Sharon (Zingg) Wheelock of Cedar Falls; sister-in-law, Karen (Todd) Wittfoth; brother-in-law, Corey (Heather) Wheelock; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral will be on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, with a visitation for an hour prior to the service.
