Tim Kirby 1960 - 2022 Dallas – Timothy "Tim" Lee Kirby, 61, passed away on March 19, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Hayesville, NC on July 28, 1960, to Jim Kirby and the late Virginia Stroud Kirby. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; and grandson, Phillip Tim attended Soul's Harbor Tabernacle in Dallas. He enjoyed watching western movies, going to car shows, and Cotton Ginning Days. Left to cherish Tim's memories is his father, Jim Kirby; sisters, Jennifer and Randy Turnmire; Debbie and David Bruce; Cindy and Brian Hensley; Heather and Noah Hensley; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bella. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 25th at Soul's Harbor Tabernacle, 603 S. Loraine Street, Dallas, NC with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Eric Quinn officiating. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. I met Tim as a tenant for Duke Wellman Properties. He soon became a help to us doing some handyman repairs. Tim always had a smile to share. I never saw him angry. He didn't complain even when his health issues started bringing him down. Tim just wanted to be able to get better and do some handy man jobs again. I appreciated his willingness to work, but more importantly his smile and friendship. He was a good guy and he will be missed. Praying for his family and friends. Rest easy my friend...
