Tim F Peyton age 74 passed away November 5, 2024 following a long illness. Born on September 9, 1950 in Grand Junction Colorado. Tim is survived by his two daughters Shauna Schaefer (Daniel) and Rachael (Jonathan) and his six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Janet Peyton and his sister Marla Peyton. Tim served in the US Army from 1971-1974 as a lieutenant: receiving the Bronze Star as well as numerous citations and metals. Tim worked for the state of Colorado at the Workforce Center for 20 years and then as a counselor in Collbran, Colorado until he retired. Tim was known for his love of animals as well as his love for boating and Lake Powell.
Tim’s celebration of life will be on March 17, 2025 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. Address 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO at 1 PM.
