Tim was born on December 19, 1955, in Davidson Co., he was the son of the late Wade Small and Fleta Pierce Small. Tim was the "salt of the Earth", a good friend, and was a joker who could make anyone laugh. He enjoyed working on cars, and he loved to read, especially books on local history and herbology.
He is survived by his sisters, Betty Hill and husband J.B. of Farmer, Mona Manns and husband Bobby of Trinity, Brenda Shaw of Asheboro; nieces and nephews, Debbie Trotter and husband Clay of Trinity, Steve Manns and wife Annette of Trinity, Lynn Johnson and husband Steve of Asheboro, Lisa Shaw and husband William of Denton, and Julia Shaw of Raleigh.
