The family lived in the rural area around Wynnewood, Oklahoma and went to Woodland Schools. We moved to Oklahoma City in 1964 and lived in NW Oklahoma City. In 1965, Mom and Dad purchased a home. He graduated from Southeast High School. He started working at Western Electric for a short time.
He started Cosmetology school and had a successful career as a hairstylist in North Oklahoma City.
As a child, he was shy and timid, but was very strong willed and independent as an adult.
His hobbies included flower gardening, fishing, and was an avid reader. He enjoyed going to the local casino and Las Vegas. He was very lucky.
Tim is survived by his mother, Lillian Firestone; brothers, Andrew Wells and Kenneth Wells of OKC; sisters, Linda Thompson and husband David Thompson of Choctaw, and Lavietta Howard and husband Dale Howard of Moore.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sherron Wells; his sister, Elizabeth Wells; and his brother, William Wells.
A funeral service will be held for Tim at Barnes Friederich and Pope Funeral Home in Midwest City on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Following the service, he will be interred at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
