Timothy L. Ames, 65, of Woodhull NY passed away at home on August 13, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Timothy was born on July 22, 1960 to the late Richard and Shirley (Button) Ames. He worked maintenance at the Hornell GST Boces, and enjoyed to hunt.

Surviving Timothy is his wife Melissa, who he married on February 20, 1999, daughters; Crystal Ames of Canisteo, Courtney Post (Franklin Ritchie) of Hornell, Hailey Post of Hornell, brothers; Richard (Tina) Ames of Niagara Falls, Steve Ames, LeRoy Mills of Arkport, Tom Mills of Canisteo, grandchildren; Calissa, Holdynn, Solanna, Mirabella, Reagan, Brody, father-in-law; Reg (Diane) Fuller of Jasper, sisters-in-law; Ann (Daniel) Sincock of Big Flats, Shelia (James) Palmiter of Jasper, brother-in-law; Jeffrey (Amber) Fuller of Addison, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Tim is predeceased by his daughter Monica Ames.

According to Tim's wishes there will be no services. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Inc., Funeral Home in Woodhull NY.
