Timothy Ray Ballengee, 65, of Alderson passed away Monday January 26, 2026, at Raleigh General Hospital surrounded by his loving family following a long illness.
Born July 26, 1960, in Ronceverte he was a son of the late Bobby Ray and Jean Ann Hoke Ballengee. Timothy was a retired construction worker who enjoyed his family, taking rides through the country and spending time with his great grandson.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Aimee Ballengee.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Beverly Whitt Ballengee; one son, Joshua Ballengee of Alderson; one grandson, George Ballengee and girlfriend Brianna Workman; one great grandson, Hudson Ballengee; one brother, Jason Ballengee and wife Kelly; one sister, Pam Cayton; special cousin, Scott Hill; special uncle, David Hoke and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday February 3, 2026 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Butch LeGrand officiating. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral parlors.
There will be a private burial at Tempa Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
