Timothy Christian Bettes

Timothy (“Tim”) was born on August 5, 1978 in Augusta, GA and passed away on July 4, 2025 at 46 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Bettes, who passed on July 6, 2018, and his mother, Teresa Bettes, who passed on August 9, 2019.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Robin Bettes, daughter, Makayla Bettes, son, Dalli Wane Conner, sister, Natasha Bettes Collins, brother-in-law, Russell Collins, sister-and-brother-in-law, Tish and Mikey Williams, nephews Christian and Jaxon Collins, and Great Aunts and Uncles.

Tim grew up in Granby, MO, where he attended East Newton High School until he moved to Maryville, TN and then graduated from Maryville High School in 1996. He married Robin Bettes on 11/30/2016, and they enjoyed many adventures together, especially their trips to Myrtle Beach, SC.

Tim was a skilled carpenter and a terrific car salesman. His hobbies also included landscaping and gardening, cars, going to car shows, and riding his motorcycles. He also thoroughly enjoyed attending church with Pastor Gino Magdos and the congregation at Dandridge Apostolic Church.

The family would like to thank the team with Prisma Health, Blount AMR, and all first responders for the excellent care and support they provided to Tim and the family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the Smith Trinity Chapel with a Celebration of Tim’s life to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Gino Magdos officiating.
