Christopher Walker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miller Funeral Home on Mar. 6, 2026.
Christopher Scott Walker, age 53, of Rockford, passed away peacefully at University of Tennessee Medical Center after a prolonged illness on March 4, 2026. He was born on April 28,1972 in Maryville Tennessee to Robert Wayne Walker (Mary) and the late Charlene Shuler Walker. Scott, the youngest of four sons, is survived by his brothers Clifford Walker (Lisa), Rick Walker (Bonnie), and Randall Walker, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by good friend and business partner, Will Carter.

Before graduating from Maryville High School in 1991, Scott completed kindergarten through twelfth grade without missing a single day of school. He then began his career as an electrician, following the path of his family's business. He was known to be a meticulous worker with catlike balancing skills. Later in life, he began CarWalke Residential Services which provided electrical resources for new construction. Scott loved animals-especially his dogs Max and Murphy-RV travel, new experiences, and fishing. He enjoyed technology, playing strategy board games and was a master chess player. Additionally, he was a self-taught chef with superb culinary skills and took pleasure in preparing large meals for his family and friends. He was loyal to the core, kindhearted and compassionate always.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at UT Medical Center for their exceptional care.

Heartfelt thanks go to Brad Shore, a lifelong friend, for his unwavering loyalty, friendship, and steadfast support throughout the years.

Family and friends will gather for a private burial at Grandview Cemetery, 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN on a date to be determined.
