Timothy Click Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Midlothian Funeral Home on Dec. 18, 2025.
Timothy Delano Click, beloved husband, father, "Pops," brother, uncle, and friend,

passed away unexpectedly on December 14 at the age of 64. A devoted follower of

Jesus Christ and Dallas Cowboys fan, Tim lived with a steady loyalty to his Savior, his

family, and his team.

Tim was born on March 13, 1961 to John and Peggy Click in Arlington, Texas, both of

whom preceded him in death. Tim graduated from Duncanville High School in 1979. He

earned his private pilot's license at age 19 and attended Dallas Baptist University, where

he received a Bachelor of Career Arts/Aviation Management in 1983. Tim met his wife,

Kay, while they both worked at Rotec Engineering in Duncanville. They married on

March 10, 1984. Tim worked as an agent for Farmers Insurance from 1984 to 2007. He

then served in the Dallas County Sheriff's Department until he retired in October of 2025.

Tim's optimism and wit made him the one who could turn an ordinary moment into a

story and memory to cherish. Tim's faith in Christ was not just something he talked

about-it shaped the way he loved, forgave, and served. He was generous with his time,

quick with a joke, steady in a crisis, and always ready to listen, making people feel seen

and valued.

Tim is survived by his wife and best friend of 41 years, Lynda Kay Click, with whom he

shared a life of love, partnership, and countless memories. He was a proud dad to Jett

Click and daughter-in-law, Kailea, of Aledo and Bri Pino and son-in-law, Cameron, of

Midlothian. As "Pops," he adored his granddaughters: Addie Click, Kalyn Pino, and soon-

to-arrive baby girl, Karsyn Baylor Pino, due in May 2026. His greatest joy was being present in their lives.

Tim is also survived by his sister, Shelley Powell and husband, Stephen, of Aledo, Texas,

and his brother, Johnny Click, and wife, Becky, of Grand Prairie, Texas, his mother-in-law,

Ruth Lundquist, of Midlothian, Texas, and his brother-in-law, Mike Lundquist, of

Logansport, Louisiana. He was deeply loved by his nieces and nephews: Amber Powell,

Sean Samford, Brent Powell, Josh Jaccard, Nick Lundquist, Brandon Click, Chad Click,

Chase Click, and Candice Rutledge. He also leaves behind his great-nephew, Tanner

Kurr, along with many other family members, best friends: Orlando Caguioa, Bruce

Cosper, David Webster, and many others who became like family over the years. He is

preceded in death by his father-in-law, Cliff Lundquist, and nephew, Erik Lundquist.

Though his passing was sudden and deeply painful for those who love him, Tim's family

grieves with hope, knowing he is with the Lord he loved. His legacy of faith, humor, and

steadfast love will live on in the hearts and stories of all who were blessed to know him.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held on December 18, 2025 at Stonegate Church in

Midlothian, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held at 10am. The Celebration of

Life service will begin at 11am. Family and friends are invited to wear Cowboys attire or

navy blue in his honor.

At the family's request, memorial gifts in Tim's honor may be given to Stonegate

Church, 4025 E HWY 287, Midlothian, TX 76065.
