Timothy J. Collins, age 72, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Jill Woodward Collins. Raised in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, he was the son of the late John L. Collins and Mary Joan (Vogt) Collins.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter, Amelia C. Morrill, her husband Ryan Morrill, and their children Natalie Morrill and Owen Morrill, all of Marblehead, MA. He was the father of the late Peter Woodward Collins. He was the brother of Patricia April of Haines City, FL. He also leaves his dear in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tim was an account executive in the computer component sales industry for many years until his retirement.

Music was Tim's true passion. He was an accomplished musician and played acoustic, electric and bass guitar. Tim was a dedicated audiophile and he eagerly shared his joy of music and his expansive knowledge across musical genres. He was an enthusiastic organic gardener, an avid golfer, a talented chef for his friends and family, and a skilled photographer.

Tim was a devoted grandfather and relished the time he spent with his cherished grandchildren -- to whom he was Poppop.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, September 22, 2025 at 4pm at the North Beach Clubhouse, 79 Boston Neck Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in his honor made to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave, Providence, RI, 02907 or https://rifoodbank.org/
