Timothy Allen Cook, 47, of Warner Robins, GA, entered into rest on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Timothy was born on June 27, 1976, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He had many interests; he was a master artist and avid fisherman, he loved playing basketball with his oldest grandson, Josiah, and he had a love for animals, and a heart of gold.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Sawyer Cook, grandfather, MSgt. Kenneth Cook, USAF (Ret.), uncle, Charles S. (Bubba) Cook, great-grandparents, Arthur and Maybelle Gibby, along with Hazel McGhee English.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Aeriell Michelle Cook and his son, Timothy Michael Cook (fiancé, Janylah); his grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Josiah, Grayson, Ivey, Carmelo, and Paisley; parents, Deborah Cook and CMSgt. Kenneth M. Cook, USAF (Ret.); sister, Sara Jean Cook Jones (Rev. Michael Jones); grandparents, CMSgt. Cecil P. Gibby, USAF (Ret.) and Betty J. Gibby; cousins who felt like baby brothers, Bobby Gibby and Alan Gibby; a host of aunts and uncles, Pastor Alan Gibby (Theresa), Rebecca A. McClellan (Tom), Missy O’Brien (Dan), and Kenneth Gibby (Regina), along with a host of cousins and other loving family members and friends.
A private family viewing will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Visitation for friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Timothy will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made in Tim’s name to The American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
