Timothy Coots Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Campbell Funeral Home - Yates Center on Dec. 29, 2021.
Timothy Alan Coots was born on March 27, 1951 in Chanute, Kansas. He entered eternal rest on December 28, 2021 in Burlington, Kansas. His parents were Ralph E. Coots and Naomi A. (Middleton) Coots. They both preceded him in death.
Among the things treasured by Tim were his love for God and Jesus, and his unequivocal love and caring for his family.
Without a doubt, the non-negotiables for Tim included: true loyalty and faith in the Kansas City Chiefs, coffee, good manners, Elvis Presley, and pretty waitresses and nurses.
Tim's family would like to thank God for the honor of helping him meet the challenges of his life's journey. He taught his family far more than they could ever teach him. That must have been God's purpose all along, because we're pretty sure we heard God tell him "well done, my son" as he took him home.
Tim is survived by one sister, Dana Kraft of Gillette, Wyoming; one nephew and family, Dustin Allen (Christy), also of Gillette, Wyoming; nieces and nephews include Denton Aikins (Raychele) of Lawrence, KS, Kasie and Riley Stauffer of Omaha, Nebraska, Kylyn Allen of Gillette, Wyoming, and William Allen of Gillette, Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents; his sister, Terri Lynn Coots, and one brother, Ralph E. Coots, Jr.
Rest in peace, Tim. Your family will love you always and forever.
A private family-only service will take place at a later date. Interment will be in Altoona, KS.
