Jen, I am saddened to learn about the passing of Tim. I wish he could have come to visit Sean to see him working at the scope identifying spiders. Sean is an excellent scientist, don't tell the master's students, but Sean is far and away the best scientist I have had in the lab. I know Tim must be proud of his son, I wish I had had the chance to tell him personally, what a great job he did raising Sean.
Sincerely,
Chris Adams

Tim will be dearly missed, and my heart goes out to Jen, Sean, and the rest of the family. I had the pleasure to work with Tim for many years, most recently as a USGS colleague. I always admired and appreciated Tim´s thoughtfulness, gentle nature, and big-picture view.

This is such sad news! I had the pleasure of knowing Tim through our work with invasive mussels and research. Tim had the thankless job of herding all the Columbia River Basin monitoring agencies and he will be missed. From after meeting drinks/discussions, to the business side, Tim was always appreciated.

I am in shock. I always considered Tim a friend and colleague. I remember past days of playing music, eating, drinking and good times. I will always remember those days. My sincere condolences to the family.
