Mr. Timothy Carroll "Tim" Deason, 61, of Pageland, SC went to be with his family dancing with the angels in Heaven on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
Mr. Deason was born on February 4, 1960 in Monroe, NC to the late Clayton Carroll Deason and Betty Lou Greene Deason. Mr. Deason is predeceased by maternal grandparents, Ellis and Madge Greene and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Annie Montgomery and Clayton Deason. He was a lifetime member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Pageland, SC. Tim loved spending time with his family. Greta was his "favorite" sister and he thought that Freda was a "stick in the mud." His favorite saying was that his sister, Gwen "was either on the phone or on the throne." When he went camping, he was always the co-captain in the RV and loved to ride the Polaris with Jimmy. Tim enjoyed doing all different types of puzzles and enjoyed collecting NASCAR, dinosaurs and collecting and crushing cans. His favorite TV shows were "Blues Clues" and "Paw Patrol."
Mr. Deason is survived by his sisters, Gwendolyn Yvonne Deason (Jimmy Watts) of Pageland, SC, Freda Annette Helms of Pageland, SC and Greta Lynn Funderburk (Eddie) of Jefferson, SC; half-brother, Josh Deason (Brittany) of Monroe, NC; half-sister, Lauren Deason (David) of Florida; uncles, Roger Greene of Pageland, SC and Tony Deason (Terry) of Monroe, NC; aunt, Joyce Deason of Stallings, NC and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to COVID 19, we ask that everyone that attends the funeral to please wear a mask and keep in mind social distancing rules.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home in Pageland, SC.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Pastor Pete Gregory and Pastor Mack Mullis officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.
Baumgartner Funeral Home of Pageland, South Carolina (www.baumgartnerfh.com) is assisting the Deason family.
