Tim Finley, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home in Easley, South Carolina, on November 2nd at 11:30 PM, surrounded by his wife, Fonda Finley, who held his hand until the very end. He bravely fought against cancer, showing incredible strength and faith throughout his battle.

Born and raised with a strong work ethic, Tim dedicated many years of his life to Saur Danfoss, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. However, it was after this chapter that he truly found his faith in God. Tim became an active member of his community, generously volunteering his time at local food banks and helping to feed the homeless every Sunday after church.

A true testament to his faith, Tim passionately shared the love of Jesus with everyone he met, embodying the transformation that a heart touched by faith can bring. His unwavering belief provided comfort and hope not just to him, but to those who knew him. Tim kept his faith close to his heart throughout his illness, holding onto the promise that he would see his loved ones again one day.

He found joy in simple pleasures: spending time at the lake, camping, fishing, or relaxing on his front porch. An avid Clemson football fan, Tim never missed a game and was rarely seen without his beloved Clemson hat. He and Fonda were devoted members of 5 Point Church, where they sat together every Sunday in the back row, supporting their community and each other.

Parents Glenda and Tom Finley (predeceased). Tim leaves behind a brother Joey Finley (Tammy), Sister Denise Stome (Brian), two daughters, Michelle Lesley and Leann Merck, and four beloved grandchildren, Jacie, Silas, Finley—named in honor of his papa—and Isaac. At 64 years old, Tim may have left this world, but he will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. He is gone but never forgotten.

In loving memory of Tim, whose spirit touched the lives of many, we invite family and friends to celebrate his memory through a heartfelt Tribute Tune entitled "Back Row in Heaven."
