Timothy William Fishburne, 52, died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 30, 2025, at his home.
Born in Florence, SC, he was a son of Susanne Ballard Fishburne and the late Bentley G. Fishburne, Jr.
Mr. Fishburne was a member of Calvary Bible Church. He graduated from Sumter High School in 1991 before studying Engineering Graphics at Central Carolina Technical College. He was a long-time member of the Sumter Chain Gang bike club.
Surviving are his mother of Sumter; two brothers, Andrew Fishburne (Tammy) and Matthew Fishburne (Ann); a sister, Kristin Shumaker (David) all of Sumter; two nephews, Zackary and Micah Fishburne; two nieces, Alexandria and Emily Fishburne.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Thursday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home prior to the service.
A brief graveside service will be in the Sumter Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 700 Gervais St. Suite 150, Box 195, Columbia, SC 29201 or to Calvary Bible Church, 770 N. Wise Drive, Sumter, SC 29153 and will be greatly appreciated.
