Mr. Timothy Gregory "Tim" Freed, age 58, of Woodland passed away September 28, 2024.
His memorial service will be held Wednesday October 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Calvert officiating.
The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service.
Mr. Freed was born May 8, 1966 in Carroll County, GA to the late Gerald Ward Freed and Sandra Diann Wilder Baldwin. He was a Christian by faith.
He was a proud father, grandfather, and brother who loved his family above all. He especially enjoyed watching his grandson play football and wrestle for his high school. If he loved you, he loved you wholeheartedly. He was very friendly and outgoing, was always willing to share a story or two, and loved to joke around and see others laugh. In his spare time he liked to go fishing and listen to classic rock music.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Alicia Freed of Heflin; two grandchildren, Sawyer Freed and Anna Bella Freed; his step-father, Kenneth Baldwin; two sisters, Robin Freed of Carrollton and Cheryl Freed Bolen (Darin) of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Tracy Allen of Kentucky and Joe Liner (Amy) of Tallapoosa; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Alex Freed; grandparents, Bernard and Irene Wilder and Clarence and Mildred Freed; and two brothers, Mike Freed and Chad Freed.
