Timothy Lester Garnand of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life unexpectedly on November 13, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on December 2, 1970, Timothy was the son of Peggy Sue (Smith) Garnand and Jimmie Wayne Garnand Sr. His father has preceded him in death, along with one brother, Leo Garnand, and a sister, Saundra Colbourne.
Tim leaves his loving family to cherish his memory – wife Felicia Garnand, son Gage Garnand and wife Christina, and daughter Kyla Poston and husband Hunter. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Garret Garnand, Trace Garnand, Reece Garnand, and Colson Garnand; his mother, Peggy Garnand; brothers Jimmie Wayne Garnand Jr., and Gregory Garnand, sister Sharmin Cravens and husband David, and a host of other family members and friends.
Mechanically inclined from the time he was a youngster, Tim loved to tinker around and was able to make advanced repairs, fixing things that other people had long given up on. Reinventing the wheel several times over throughout his life, Tim never considered anything broken unless he himself had attempted to fix it and couldn't. Using his keen mechanical aptitude, Tim turned his gift into a career as a Roadside Assistance Technician. In his free time, he enjoyed racing and tinkering with RC cars. He also loved to go fishing. Though he explored a number of passions and hobbies that brought him joy, Tim was always happiest when he was spending quality time with the people he loved. As we honor the life of Timothy Lester Garnand, let us remember him for his strength, tenacity, and devotion to his family. He will be dearly missed.
