Timothy Gerlits Obituary
Tim, who started out as a firefighter for the Forest Service, became a career professional at Boeing Corporation, where he dedicated his expertise to the Triple 7X Program. His hard work and dedication made a significant impact on the company and those he worked with. Tim's passion for his profession was evident in all that he did.
Outside of his work, Tim had a deep love for the great outdoors. He was an avid golder, finding joy in the green landscapes and the challenge of the sport. In addition to golf, Tim enjoyed indulging in other hobbies such as ping pong and archery. He found solace and happiness in these activities, embracing the sense of adventure they provided.
Tim grew up in Torrance, California, graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School, and contiued his education at Skagit Community College in Washington. Tim's committment to learning and personal growth was evident throughout his life.
Tim is survived by is loving wife, Sandy Gerlits, who stood by his side through their life achievements and challengers. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Connie Flood, Nikki Gerlits, and Chelsea Gerlits. Tim's parents, Edward and Kathy Gerlits, were a source of of love and support throughout his life. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Natalie, Mackenzie, and Hunter; his siblings, Colleen Martinez, Mary Rosas, Ed Gerlits, and Ann Gerlits, who shared countless memories and experiences with him.
Timothy Gerard Gerlits, known for his fun and adventurous nature, will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and devotion for his family will forever live on in our hearts. May he find eternal peace.
