Tim was a true Michigan football fan, and also enjoyed Christmas, being able to decorate his room, especially stringing his lights anywhere he could. Outside, he was all about gardening, growing everything from veggies to flowers, including his hostas and rose bush sitting below his window. Volunteering at the animal shelter gave him purpose, and he never missed a chance to strike up a conversation with anyone, making connections wherever he went.
He is survived by his sister Tammy Ironside, his nieces and nephews; Kara Reed, Conner Ironside, Ethan Ironside, his great niece Leora Reed, his Aunt Bonnie, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and the Hutchinson family. He is also survived by his extended family.
Tim is preceded in death by his mom Leora Giroux, and his uncle Dan Giroux, who was a father in his life,
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10:00am.
