Timothy William Gleason, age 69, passed away on November 11, 2024 in Fielding, Utah. He was born September 9, 1955 to Faye and Ralph Gleason.
He grew up in Garland, Utah until he was 8 years old and then moved to North Logan. He attended Skyview Highschool and graduated from Utah State University with a degree as a Data Analyst.
Tim worked numerous years at Beaver Mountain Ski Resort as Hill manager and later worked part time as a snow groomer. He loved being on the hill at night in a snow cat pushing snow. He had many friends and stories from his years working there. He retired from Northrup Grumman in 2022.
Tim was also a bull rider in the PRCA and traveled to rodeos throughout the United States where again he made many friends and stories. There was always a lot of laughter when he got together with his rodeo friends and reminisced about the days traveling together.
Tim served the community as an EMT on the Plymouth Fire Department. He also trained two dogs which were NASAR certified, (Sammy and Doc), and worked with Utah Search Dogs, Box Elder Search and Rescue, and Cache County Search and Rescue.
Tim married Cheri (Cheryl) Porter on July 20, 1985. From then on it was Tim and Cheri. They met while working at Beaver Mountain Ski Resort.
Tim was one of the hardest working men around. He was a tough cowboy through and through. He loved his family beyond measure. He was known for his integrity and reliability. There is a huge hole left by his passing.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheri; daughters Amanda Hansen, Morgan VanValkenburg, Cassidy Gleason; Son in laws Brady Hansen and Trevon Van Valkenburg; grandchildren Gage (Tessla) Weeks, Hailey Hess, Rush VanValkenburg, Summer VanValkenburg, Derek Hansen, Tessia Hansen; great grand children Rheid Hansen and Kaylea Davis. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at noon at the Fielding Stake Center.
