Timothy Griffin

Timothy Griffin, 65, of Hamlet, passed away on September 17th, 2025, at his home. Tim was the son of the late Murray and Marie Griffin, born November 27th, 1959, in Rockingham, NC.

Tim is survived by his brothers Tony Griffin and Kenny Griffin (Rosie); a sister Becky Manivanh (Steven); nephews Griffin Manivanh, Alan Michael Griffin (Miranda), Dusty Owens; niece Debbie Harding (Justin); great-nephews and niece; Owen Harding, Nick Harding and Genevive Griffin; sister-in-law Dorothy Griffin and special brother Paul Shirk (Cindy).

Tim was a member of the Moose Lodge in Rockingham and was known to be a prankster among his friends and family. He was a hard worker and loved his sister Becky. He just recently retired from Burlington Industries in June, but throughout his life he found work in his own Home Improvement company and as well at Scholes Electric. He is a beloved friend that will be missed by many.

The Family will receive friends for visitation at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Monday September 22, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ray Seawell officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park Cemetery.
