Timothy (Tim) Thomas Gula, 54, of Fairview Heights, IL, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Maple Grove, MN. Born March 26, 1970, in Cleveland, OH, Tim brought light, love, and laughter to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Tim was preceded in death by his:
Beloved wife, Kendra
Parents, Steven and Ann Gula
He is survived by:
His greatest pride and joy: his son Wyatt, who he proudly supported in all of his pursuits
A cherished brother to:
Steve (Amy)
Dennis (Christy)
John (Jackie)
Chris (Cathy)
Loving son-in-law to Sue and Dennis Bechtold
Brother-in-law to Kyle (Kari)
He will be deeply missed by countless nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues who were touched by his generous spirit
Tim was an Executive Producer at Encore Worldwide, where his dedication and talent left a lasting impact. Prior to that, he devoted 24 years to his role as an Account Manager at Craftsmen Industries, building lifelong friendships and a stellar reputation.
Above all, Tim was a devoted father, finding his greatest joy in watching Wyatt thrive and succeed. Whether on the hockey rink, the golf course, or in school, Wyatt always had Tim as his number-one fan.
Tim had an uncanny ability to light up any room he entered, bringing warmth, humor, and a sense of connection to all who crossed his path. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Tim's visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th, 2024 from 1PM to 6PM at Kurrus Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 30th, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. General seating will begin at 9:30AM with mass to begin at 10AM. Tim will be laid to rest immediately following at Valhalla Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Heart Association in Tim's memory.
Tim's legacy of love, dedication, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
