Fairplay, MD – Timothy Alan Horchner, 58, of Fairplay, MD, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.
He was born on June 8, 1967, in Hagerstown, MD, to Mary Jane (Neff) Horchner of Fairplay, MD and the late Larry Gene Horchner. Sr.
Tim previously was employed at the Red Men Lodge Tribe #84 and Potomac Post #202 American Legion both in Williamsport and was also employed at Sealy Mattress and Xerxes Fiberglass Tank Company also both in Williamsport.
He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Temple of Hagerstown, MD.
Tim was also a member of Conococheague Tribe #84 I.O.R.M. of Williamsport, MD; Potomac Post #202 (SAL)American Legion Williamsport, MD.
Tim enjoyed pitching horseshoes and throwing darts at the Red Men. He also enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, watching Nascar Races, and bowling at Southside Summer Senior League. His favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He was also an avid Baltimore Orioles and Dallas Cowboy fan. Besides his mother, he is survived by his sister Diana L. Palmer (Gary, Sr.) of Falling Waters, WV; brother Larry G. Horchner, Jr. (Lisa) of Hagerstown, MD; brother Gary D. Horchner (Laura) of Fairplay, MD; brother Michael T. Horchner of Smithsburg, MD; special aunt who was like a sister to Timothy Jacqueline J. Hoover (John) of Williamsport, MD; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Ed Hampton officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
