Timothy Patrick Kelly, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at his home.

Timothy was born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 17, 1948, to the late Robert Emmet Kelly and Mary Marvel (Hagen) Larson. Growing up there he worked, starting out at a neighborhood grocery store, as a paperboy for the Sun Newspaper, then Immanuel Hospital. His mother and her family introduced Tim to bowling, which he pursued as a hobby with passion. Upon graduation from Omaha North High School, he enlisted in the Air Force and served honorably for four years at Wurtsmith Air Force Base. He married Suzanne Baughman on October 4, 1974. The family lives in Alpena and belonged to Saint Bernard and later All Saints Parishes.

He moved back to Omaha after discharge where he eventually found employment with the U.S. Postal Service, where he served for 32 years in various positions, finally retiring as Postmaster at the Ossineke Post Office.

Surviving are his wife of over 50 years, Suzanne, three children; Ann Marie, Beth Ann, and Robert Patrick (Valerie Kahn) and beloved grandchild; his sisters, Aleatha (Brian) Thilliander and Gail Jackson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tim was preceded in death by his son, Sean Patrick Kelly.
