Timothy L. Krupp Jr

Timothy Louis Krupp Jr, of Chesaning
died peacefully at home, with his loving family by his side, after a long battle with cancer, at the age of 54.
Tim was born on October 15, 1970, the son of Timothy and Jane (Kreinbrink) Krupp in St. Ignace, Michigan. He grew up in New Lothrop, graduating in 1988. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Education from Saginaw Valley State University. He married his soulmate, Jamie Skornicka on December 27, 1997, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Maple Grove. They had 27 amazing years together, and four children, Carson, Courtney, Chloe, and Clara.
Tim devoted 30 years to Durand Middle School as a beloved teacher, football coach, and mentor to many of the students he taught. Coaching was his passion. He preached the "golden rule", not only on the playing field, but also in the classroom, and at home. He even had a ruler in his classroom with the golden rule, as it was a daily reminder to not only himself, but also his students. He started his coaching journey at New Lothrop, under Art Vlahon, coaching the Girls Track and Field, he continued coaching for 32 years. He also as an assistant football coach for Durand for over 5 years.
Aside from coaching, Tim was a devoted family man, who cared deeply about his family. He was always kind to everyone, no matter the circumstances. He loved watching the Detroit Lions, and Sunday night football. He enjoyed reading, telling stories and learning about other peoples' stories. He never met someone he couldn't talk to. Tim was a bright light in so many lives, and will be missed beyond measure.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Jamie Krupp; children, Carson (Makaila Moore) Krupp, Courtney Krupp, Chloe (Alex Bomia) Krupp, and Clara Krupp; parents, Timothy and Jane Krupp; sister, Jody (Jason) Saunders. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cyrllus and Joan Kreinbrink, and LaVearn and Edna Krupp.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm at Durand High School Football Field, 9575 E Monroe Rd, Durand, MI 48429. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 1:00pm at St. Michael Catholic Church in Maple Grove, with visitation one hour before the service. Burial will follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Maple Grove.
